Warren Johns

Warren Johns has represented Australia on numerous occasions.

He was part of the Australian World Championship Ocean Racing Team in 1988.He was also the winner of many international, national and individual events including the Kenwood Cup in 1988 and 1990, the Sydney to Moolooaba Race, Coff's Harbour, Hamilton Island, Hayman Island and Southern Cross events.

In 1994 he was presented with the Australian Ocean Racing Award.

He is a member of Middle Harbour Yacht Club and the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron.

Middle Harbour Yacht Club's Plum Crazy (1137) and Cruising Yacht Club of Australia's Granny Smith (A16) race for the first marker outside the Heads in the CYCA Level Rating Series for half-tonners. Granny Smith sailed by Beacon Hill resident Warren Johns, overtook Plum Crazy and reached the mark firs, In the background are Lollipop of Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club and Justine (1534) of CYCA.
